Bikeztube Cycles and Range and Restore
Bike servicing at 118 Junction Road, sports massage and recovery at 130. Two independents on the same Archway street looking after North London's cyclists.

About Bikeztube Cycles
Bikeztube Cycles is the family-run bike shop at 118 Junction Road, between Archway and Tufnell Park tube. The family have been mechanics since the 1940s, starting out in a motorcycle garage, and over the years the work shifted to bicycles. Walk in and the first thing you notice is the wall of vintage and modern frames waiting to become custom builds.
The workshop is primarily about service and repair, and it handles everything. Geared bikes, folding bikes, e-bikes, Bromptons, internal hub gears, kids bikes, single speeds. The mechanics are also serious wheel builders, hundreds of builds deep, working with components from Sapim, DT Swiss, Mavic, Halo, Miche and Shimano, and they repair carbon fibre frames that other shops would write off. If you want a bespoke bike built from scratch, sprayed and specced to your taste, this is where Archway goes.
Why we work together
Carlos commutes by bike every day, up Highgate Hill in the morning and back down at the end of it. A proper bike workshop a few doors from the clinic isn't a marketing arrangement, it's where his own bike goes. And the truth is the two shops are in the same trade. Bikeztube keeps a bike healthy by clearing small problems before they become big ones. The skipping gear, the worn pads, the wheel slightly out of true. We do exactly the same job on the rider. Tight hip flexors, heavy quads, a lower back that never quite unlocks. Ignore them and they grow into the kind of pain that takes you off the bike. Deal with them regularly and they stay minor. Anyone who services their bike on schedule already understands the argument for doing the same with their body.
Bike and body, serviced on the same street
Cycling is kind on the joints and hard on the soft tissue. The riding position shortens the hip flexors, rounds the lower back and loads the neck, and most riders are far better at maintaining the bike than maintaining themselves. That's the gap this collaboration closes. Our sports and deep tissue massage goes straight to the areas riding loads up, and the Recovery Suite at 130 adds Normatec full leg compression to flush heavy quads and calves, plus an infrared sauna that winds the nervous system down after a long day in the saddle.
The practical version: if your bike is going in for a service, drop it at 118 and walk the few doors up to 130. Thirty minutes in the Normatec boots or a sports massage while the mechanics work, and you ride home on a bike that shifts properly with legs that have actually recovered. We wrote a full guide to sports massage and recovery for cyclists if you want the detail.
How we look out for each other
Honest referrals, both ways. When clients ask Carlos where to take a bike that is skipping gears or overdue a service, Bikeztube at 118 is the answer, a one minute walk from our door. When a cyclist rolls into Bikeztube nursing a stiff back or legs that haven't recovered from the weekend, the team point them up the road to us. There's no formal scheme. No vouchers, no commission, no marketing dance. Just two shops on the same street looking after Archway's cyclists and their bikes.
That's what cyclist wellbeing means on Junction Road. The bike and the body, sorted a few doors apart.
